when Ariana Grande decided to get a tattoo in kanji - and in one of the most painful spots possible - to commemorate her song "7 rings", she had no idea what she was getting herself into.

but it turns out that when you combine the characters for 'seven' and 'ring' in kanji, you get the word: shichirin. meaning, of course... 'small charcoal grill'. and Ariana learned the hard way that simply adding the word 'finger' to the end of that... doesn't really improve the situation. like, at all.

I know what you're (totally, 100%) thinking, and it's probably: how and why did this happen? I need to know EVERY SINGLE detail!!! well, I thought the same thing, so now I can tell you! you're welcome! join me today to yap about another fun, meaningless topic - I hope you love our chit-chat about tattoos and shichirins!
