High pressure is locked in place and will make for quiet weather this Halloween weekend. Quiet weather this time of year though will aid in keeping pollution locked in along the valley floor through the next several days. Highs will be warmer this weekend in the mid 60s with partly cloudy skies Saturday, then sunny skies Sunday! We'll stay warmer than normal through the first half of next week with lingering smog and some days with passing clouds. A storm system looks to pass through Utah sometime Wednesday into Thursday. This will bring some valley rain and mountain snow, and a drop in temperatures to the mid to upper 50s.
