this is a quick way to warm the feet and strengthen them for ballet technique class and/or pointe work.
begin with the feet in parallel. keeping the ankles straight and strong, rise up to high half toe; press the ankles forward as the knees bend; rise back to high half toe and lower the heels to the floor. Press right ankle, left ankle, right ankle, left ankle. Repeat
Turn the feet out to first position and repeat the combo. Be careful to keep the shoulders over the hips and the knees tracking with the toes.
