Like Rakshabandhan, this festival is also a festival of symbolizing the love of brother and sister. There is a special significance of celebrating this festival in Hinduism. This time this special festival is falling on 6th November 2021, Saturday. It is believed that on this day brothers should go to their sisters' house and get them tilak. Along with this, the brother should eat the food of the sister's house only. According to the beliefs, on the day of Bhai Dooj, the brother gets the blessings of happiness and prosperity with long life. But along with applying tilak to brothers and sisters on this day, some special things should be taken care of throughout the day.

हर साल कार्तिक मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की द्वितीय तिथि को भाई दूज का पावन त्योहार मनाया जाता है। रक्षाबंधन की ही तरह यह त्योहार भी भाई-बहन के प्यार के प्रतीक का पर्व है। हिंदू धर्म में इस पर्व को मनाने का विशेष महत्व है। इस बार यह खास पर्व 6 नवंबर 2021, दिन शनिवार को पड़ रहा है। मान्यता है कि इस दिन भाइयों को अपनी बहनों के घर जाकर उनसे तिलक करवाना चाहिए। इसके साथ ही भाई को बहन के घर का ही भोजन करना चाहिए। मान्यताओं अनुसार भाई दूज के दिन भाई को लंबी उम्र के साथ सुख संपन्नता का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त होता है। मगर इस दिन भाई-बहनों को तिलक लगाने के साथ पूरे दिन कुछ खास बातों का ध्यान रखना चाहिए।
