Daniel Del Core's second collection offered more approachable pieces for spring, but his eccentric concoctions stole the spotlight.

The mirror-floored show space for Daniel Del Core’s second runway effort was filled with smoke as the first model strut down the runway in a halter-neck minidress with frills.

A fluid collection, inspired by water, which flows, wraps and soothes.

This is the concept of the Del Core Spring Summer 2022 fashion show.

"Water is life and has life. It starts the cycle of evolution by changing state from liquid to gas to nemesis to cirrus and back to liquid again," explains young designer Daniel Del Core, in his second collection.

Thinking of water, Del Core develops the idea of mutant glamour in new forms, constructed and fluid, protective and evanescent: from precise tailoring to the couture volumes of pleated bobble dresses, floral prints and, a tribute to the 90's with men's trouser suits closed by oversized hooks and floating jumpsuits.

The result of different inspirational fusions, from the Orient to the masculine, creates interesting hybrids, with tops paired with baggy trousers, alternating with kimono coats with a train, which walk on platform or flower-shaped heels.

A palette of bright but desaturated colors, washed to reveal and make sensual, between liquid and more compact satins we find: soft greens, intense reds, sunny yellows, delicate pinks, blacks.

Elaborate accessories stand out as headpieces like corollas of plissé and encrustations of precious embroidery.

Glamour, nature, frayed silk that seems to become seaweed, bright and dull tones, glamour and severity.

"Mother nature is in the atelier. The atelier is the laboratory of further evolution," Del Core reiterates.
