The time has come! We partnered with Genentech to help create Double Take, a first-of-its-kind fashion show created by the spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) community. Watch us as we head down the runway to just before New York Fashion Week!
Double Take was developed from beginning to end with SMA community involvement - from conceptualizing the message of the show, to working with designers to adapt the clothing, to walking and rolling the runway. This program aims to highlight the style and sophistication of the disability community, while increasing disability visibility, championing adaptive fashion, and breaking down stereotypes.
