It Is Finished
1. It is finished – He Died for our sins
Jn 19:30 It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
What is your child worth? God gave His only son for you and me
Jesus has been to hell, He knows what waits on the other side
Rom 5:6-10 When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. 7 No one is willing to die for another person, but for a good man someone might be willing to die. 8 But God showed His love to us. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Now that we have been saved from the punishment of sin by the blood of Christ, He will save us from the wrath to come. 10 For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. (The life is in the Blood)
It doesn’t matter what we have done, His blood is enough

1 Tim 1:15-16 Jesus came into the world to save sinners from their sin and I was the worst sinner. 16 And yet God had loving-kindness for me. Jesus Christ used me to show how long He will wait for even the worst sinners. In that way, others will know they can have eternal life.
The prodigal, the woman with the issue, the adulteress woman and Peter’s denial all needed the same thing, God’s forgiveness
He had to be rejected so you would never have to be alone again
Matt 27:46 “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
1 Cor 15:4 Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day
