Colon's Theatre of Buenos Aires is one of the most important opera houses of the world. Its rich and prestigious history and the exceptional acoustic and architectural features of its building place it at the level of theatres such as La Scala in Milan, the Paris Opera, the Vienna State Opera, London's Covent Garden and the Metropolitan NY.
When I was just seven or eight years old, my school took us to see the Theatre from the inside.
There was a moment when we passed by one of the Ballet Studios, where the Company was working on one of the productions of that season.
While we all contemplated the plasticity, and the magic of the dancer's work, one of my classmates pointed at me contemptuously saying to the rest, "this is Lucio's future...", and they all began to laugh.
At that time I had no idea that this world existed, but just feeling the joy of others despising something so neat and majestic, such as Dance and the hard work of a dancer, made me open my eyes.
