Four Simple Ways to Tuck In Your Top (Fashion Over 40) #shorts

Define your waist *instantly* with a simple nip and tuck... of your shirt!!!

Many of you know I am a big fan of the half tuck... which is exactly what it sounds like-- tucking in half of your shirt. While this style trick garners quite A LOT of controversial feedback, I stand behind it as a super chic, effortless, and not-so-fussy way to add definition to your waist.

And there's more than one way to try this game-changing style trick! These four simple shirt tucks are majorly flattering and so easy...

1 | The Classic Half Tuck -- Simply tuck the front of your top into your pants, loosen the tuck a bit, and you're set to go!

2 | The Hair Tie Tuck -- Using a clear hair tie, secure the front ends of a button-up top near your last button. Flip the tie up and under your top... et voilà!

3 | The Hair Tie Tuck II -- Like the second tuck, secure the front ends of a button-up top near your last button with a clear hair tie. This time, instead of flipping the ends up beneath your shirt, tuck the tie into your pants.

4 | The Criss-Cross Tuck -- Begin with an unbuttoned shirt (you'll likely want to wear a cami underneath). Take the left side of your shirt and tuck it in on the right side, then take the right side of your shirt and tuck it on the left side. This creates a really flattering v-neck fit and looks SO chic!
