Hiking & Kayaking Emerald Bay, Emerald Bay State Park, CA.

Day 2 of a road trip with my cousin. Lake Tahoe would be the first check mark on her bucket list on this trip. I even mothballed my hiking boots for a while and tried kayaking for the first time. I aspired to go out to Fannette Island anyway, and a kayak was the only way there. Therefore, it didn't take much to convince me. Meanwhile, I think I discovered a new way to appreciate nature. Who says that you can't teach an old dog new tricks?
