Lilac, silver and sparkle - if you want to be on trend this holiday season, this could be the look for you.
The top styles for 2016 are out in force in the home décor shops of Beverly Hills.
Staff here say this year is all about bringing richness and glitz into the home.
The over the top, bedazzled look mixes neutral, metallic tones and high shine to create a modern edge.
Pearls, crystals and beads adorn table decorations and ornaments.
This year's trendy color schemes involve mixing neutral shades with white, silver and Champagne gold for a touch of frosty glamour.
Interior designer Laura Schwartz-Muller says holiday décor trends are directly inspired by the year's hottest home decorating looks.
"We're seeing soft metallic pearls of silvers and grays and different finishes. We're seeing rose gold and Champagne and flesh colors. They're just delicious," she says.
"And we're seeing embellishments then again this year, coming again directly out of the trends this year, beading, poofs. We're seeing textures, layers and layers and layers of textures of the neutral colors, so we're seeing lots of shimmer, and shine and matte finishes against mirrored finishes, so there's lots of reflection going on and I think there's something for everybody this year."
Z Gallerie in Beverly Hills is a lifestyle brand focusing on home furnishing, art and decorative accessories, with 60 retail stores in 21 states.
The store's public relations specialist Craig Pratt says the look for 2016 going into 2017 can be described as over-the-top luxe.
"You're seeing your silvers, you're seeing your golds and your pewters. Avant-garde Christmas, unconventional trees, smaller scale trees for even a table top, very over the top decorations and ornaments. You're seeing bedazzled. You're seeing jeweled stones," he says.
Table top trees are popular this season, in the on trend colors of white, silver, light gray and light gold.
Tree ornaments continue the same color palette, many with decorative feathers.
Pearl-adorned decorations and metallic pine cones are fashionable centerpieces for the holiday table.
The 2016 trend for Mongolian faux fur in the home is getting a Christmas twist in the shape of wine bottle gift bags and Christmas stockings.
Crate & Barrel is a US retail chain with more than 170 outlets nationwide, specializing in homeware, furniture and accessories.
The store combines traditional holiday wares with the latest fashion trends.
Staff say some of the top items this year are triangular A-frame metal Christmas trees, including small ones that can sit on a table top.
Marble is another current home décor trend getting a Christmas boost in the form of fruit bowls, table centerpieces, wine bottle holders, and even cheese plates.
Or if you want something with a bit of vintage sparkle, there are table decorations made of mercury glass.
For the latest take on a festive chandelier, shoppers can indulge themselves with a combination of Christmas baubles, lights and family photos.
Hanukkah table decorations include glittering Menorahs, and Dreidel and Menorah plates in white and blue, with silver accessories for a Festival of Lights dinner.
Crate & Barrel's visual merchandising manager Kristy Degina says the quickest shortcut to a fashionable holiday table is to stock up on marble-style pieces.
"One of our biggest trends this year is white marble and the best thing about it is you can pair with your everyday kitchen essentials. It takes your serving to another level and really looks beautiful on the table," she says.
But the Spruce 0132 store in Los Angeles is offering something a little bit more unusual - an upside down tree.
