How to Soak off Extremely Long Nails!

Hiya Duck in today's video I’m going to be showing you how to soak off really long nails! Let’s get cracking!

We have Fay in the building today and she has on a set of really long nails that she has had on for a really long time so let’s take them off. I’ll start by removing the stones from the nails using an old pair of nippers to crack the sides of the gel.

With all the stones off the nail, it's time to remove the length of the extension and I'll do that with a pair of nail clippers I'll turn the hand so the palm is facing up check where the natural nail ends and then I’ll cut just past that point.

Now I'll move over to my e-file and I'll fit that with the de-bulking bit and I can use that to glide gently across the acrylic and I'll remove around 80 per cent of the remaining product from the nail with this.

Now I'll jump across to my 240 grit file and just score the acrylics so that the acetone can more easily penetrate the product

Now I can wrap these nails up I have some foil already cut up ill decant some acetone into a dampened dish and then I can saturate some lint wiped in the acetone place those over the acrylic and then wrap those in the foil and leave those ten minutes while the acetone breaks down the acrylic.

Ten minutes later we can unwrap these and have a check now I'll take my shiny new Make ’N’ Scrape and I can use this to easily remove that soft acrylic from the nail bed and I'll do that on all of the nails and then I will whip over with a 240 grit file to reveal Fay's beautiful nails!
