How to Wear One of Fall's Hottest Trends...Leather! (Fashion Over 40) #shorts

This year's fall trends are everything a girl could dream of... feminine, edgy, bold and GLAM! ✨

One of the hottest trends ➡️ leather and faux leather. The new twist..? More is more! Think leather from head-to-toe.

The beauty of this trend is… it’s not only a major classic, it's a simple way to add a bit of edge to your look. Leather/faux leather can be that one piece you can throw on that adds an instant "cool girl" factor. I love to wear black, but if black isn't your color, warm browns, olive, navy or cream can be really flattering as well when it comes to leather.

Whether you're ready to go bold or subtly sport the trend, here's what you should do! ????

1) Try head-to-toe
Head-to-toe leather? Yes, please! This is a fresh-off-the-runway look -- head-to-toe leather ensembles were everywhere on the Fall 2022 runways. Mix and match leather tones for a chic, runway-ready outfit.

2) Add a detail
Add a bit of edge to your look with leather details -- Look for leather accents on coats and jackets like the trench coat I’m wearing in this video…or try the trend with accessories, like leather belts or headbands.

3) Sole mates
Sport the trend with chic leather footwear -- Give me all the leather boots this fall! Footwear is a super simple and stylish way to wear the trend. These combat boots are SO good (TTS with side zip making them easy to get on and off.)

4) Invest in leather classics
The moto, the bomber, ankle boots... these are a few of those classic leather pieces that truly never go out of style. You can't go wrong with these!
