Hey, I am bald and I recently got a hair tattoo (SMP - Scalp Micropigmentation) and I wanted to be real about it and let you all know that this type of thing exists for all my bald bros out there.

If you are losing the hairz, this is an alternative to getting a transplant.

I got mine done by Rob James SMP in Vancouver (he's on IG) and I think it looks good. I made sure to find an artist who has a good portfolio of realistic hairlines as I find that sets apart a lot of different artists.

The terminology I used to find different artists is a 'feathered' and 'soft' hairline. You also want organic ink.

At the end of the day, if you're not in the mood for the full bald look anymore, then research some other alternatives.
Just please do your due-diligence on finding a LEGIT artist with good results.

This is not a typical tattoo that you can get at your tattoo parlor. A different needle is used here, as well as different ink and how deep it actually goes into the skin.

This was my experience with it, so best of luck out there if you wanna do the same.
