Over the past 5 years or so, the word ‘minimalism’ has popped up everywhere and has become incredibly overused. The movement has dominated social media, made appearances in the news, and has even made a huge impact on the fashion industry. Millions of people stripped down their wardrobes to contain just the basic essentials and Steve Jobs became a fashion icon. Well kind of.
It’s fair to say minimalism has definitely spent a good amount of time in the spotlight but is minimalism dead? And more specifically, is minimalism in fashion dead?
