If you apply your press-on nails the right way, they will last longer and be safer. You can maintain press-on nails for longer if you use liquid or solid glue, but if you're like me and can't keep your nails long for long periods of time or want to change your style often to fit your clothes, I suggest you try stick tabs. After three to five days, the right way to use it can still be very strong. The important thing is that it's safe to take off and you can switch to a different style right away.
