I put together a list of my favorite Mccall sewing patterns. These are great and in fashion sewing for beginners and advance!
Are you looking for DIY sewing clothes inspiration?
And are you mostly sewing clothes for women,? These sewing patterns are great for beginners.

Mccalls 7742- dress with gathering involved, v neck no issues, I like that it is fully lined, you don't need to add the cuffs. I added a ruffle to the bottom of the red one.
by the way...these made the list because they are ones that I wear over and over again.
mccalls 7122-great fashion sewing for beginners, sewing pattern for beginners, super fast, fits great!
mccall 8241-poncho type fit, wonderful fast pattern, great for beginners..make sure to use a heavy fabric
mccalls 8167- ideal fabric is rayon! This tunic shirt, I love the seam going down the middle, gives it a great shape, really fast to finish as there are no gathers...the center seem collar might be tricky
mccalls 8144-recommended fabric, DBP, Sweater knitsi love the sleeves, love the lifted collar and seam down the middle.
mccalls 7899- rayon challis recommended fabric, gathered sleeves.
