In today's video, we are moving our combine harvesters to one of our other fields and Dad is hilarious on the radio! Grandpa is flagging and we are not wasting any time!! I have 2 annoying flies in my combine just like the Welker's post I saw. So far my combine harvester screens are telling me the last field was 9.5 bushels per acre and that is terrible! I see a deer in the field as we are going down the road. Our neighbor uses a cab-less combine and Dad wants me to try it out so I will appreciate my combine cab more!!! I'd love to try it for a day, maybe! I'm sure it has lots of horsepower! The exciting part is that I helped to seed the field we are going to cut next. I drive Dad's Ford F350 pickup truck to flag the tractor and disc and Grandpa takes Darcy and Arvid over to move the semi-truck into this field too. It was such a fun day! I hope you enjoy my video! My Story…
Hello. My name is Kate Stephens, and I am an 18-year-old 4th-generation Montana farmer. My family has been farming wheat in north-central Montana since my great-grandfather immigrated from Denmark in 1912 and homesteaded our land. My family has been teaching me about farming since I was two years old. I run one of the combines on the farm at harvest. I believe that it is important for everyone to know where their food comes from and the families who produce it. I love our farm, and I hope that my Farm to Fashion and Farm to Table products can help educate people about where their food comes from in a fun way. That is how Kate's Ag - Farm to Fashion became a reality.
