We are thrilled to be able to present a conversation with Astra Burka from the legendary skating family who has partnered with the Bata Shoe Museum to create 'Boots and Blades- The Story of Canadian Figure Skating'. In this exhibit, you can explore the artistry and athleticism of figure skating from its early beginnings to today with their new online exhibition Boots & Blades: The Story of Canadian Figure Skating. Developed with the support of the Digital Museums Canada investment program, discover how figure skating evolved as a sport and art form through boots, blades, movement, costume, music and more.
