Steppin' Out Host Peggy Scott Laborde welcomes Poppy Tooker who has some suggested restaurant tips for Cinco de Mayo. Gwen Thompkins, host of the public radio program, Music Inside Out, gives her picks for this weekend's New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Also appearing on the program are Lydia Blackmore, who will discuss the Historic New Orleans Collection's new exhibit, "Unknown Sitters." Greg Schramel of the New Orleans Ballet Theatre previews the group's latest production, "Dracula" and director Gary Rucker
provides a sneak peek at the musical "Sister Act," opening at the Rivertown Repertory Theatre For The Performing Arts.

Steppin' Out will be broadcast TONIGHT Thursday at 7pm and repeated Friday at midnight. It will be available for streaming during broadcast and on WYES/PBS apps. After the initial airing it will be shown on WYES' You Tube Channel.
