When WW2 broke out, tens of thousands of men would be marching off to battle, leaving their families behind. Those who remained would have to keep the country running in their stead. In this video we will discuss wartime rationing, women in the workforce, and propaganda.

I just want to clarify that since many of my sources were North American, much of the information displayed in this video focuses on Canada or the US. That being said life on the home-front was similar for most of the allied countries, and things like rations and women in the workforce were happening in both North America, Europe, and other British colonies.
