The French-born creative photographer was known for his shots of models and personalities comprehending Princess Diana, who opted him as her private shooter in 1989.

An accord that made him the "earliest non-British" shooter to be rented by the Royal Family.

Demarchelier’s death was verified on his Instagram account: "It's with great sadness that we advertise the end of Patrick Demarchelier on March 31st 2022, at the age of 78, he's survived by his woman Mia, his three sons Gustaf, Arthur, Victor and three grandchildren."
