This absolutely IS my kind of history. We need many more humanly-relatable series like this to ensure that 21st century viewers acquire and retain an interest in their historical past.

One mistake I've noticed in other recent televised reconstructions of Royal weddings is to show the congregation applauding upon the conclusion of the marriage vows. This surely would never have happened at Queen Victoria's very formal wedding ceremony, nor even at Queen Elizabeth II's."
