In this video I talk a bit about the history of the high heeled shoe as a fashionable item in western fashion and why modern high heels are so horrible. I base this on my knowledge and training in pedicures and foot anatomy and problems and explain about how the foot functions and why the modern high heel shoe is not optimal for foot health and compare it to it's historic counter parts and modern reproductions of historical footwear.
