Have you ever wondered what causes that satisfying snapping sound? Well it’s not just a random noise - it’s actually a process called cavitation!
When the laser hits the tattoo, it heats up the ink so quickly that it forms tiny bubbles around it which expand and contract almost instantly! When the bubbles snap, it actually breaks the ink into tiny fragments and a small puff of steam is released in the outer layer of skin, causing those white circles to pop up which allows your body to absorb and remove the ink.
