These collections, where you ask yourself..what is this?? Am I not avantgarde enough to understand and celebrate this or is it simply bad? In this video we have a look into the origins of the so called "ugly style", where it comes from and the most important part, what it actually means to decide to walk the path of the UGLY.
Maison Margie's Artisanal 2024 show by John Galliano was a little reminder for all of us, what it actually means to choose the ugly. Of course we are not running around it Haute Couture, but instead choose very specific forms, shapes and colours which reflect our inner self, which in conclusion is ugly when compared to the poor common sense of beauty.
We are all ugly lol.
