After years of searching and ordering different renditions of a flat chocolate brown ankle boot appropriate to wear to work, I finally found and ordered the Madewell ‘Dimes Kitten heel’ boot! It has the perfect low 1” block heel that makes it super comfortable and has a narrow shaft that can fit under slim fit trousers! The classic style of boot is versatile enough to wear casually on weekends! They retail for $198, but I purchased them during Madewell’s Fri friends and family sale Labor Day which entitled me to 30% off. Unfortunately, I have decided not to keep them because they are very similar to Cole Haan ankle boot that I purchased years ago that I thought was too edgy to wear to work but find I gravitate toward when the weather is cold enough to wear a leather ankle boot.
