The rage at the time is seamless nylons, but there is still manufacturing shown for fully fashioned stockings, or seamed nylons. The machinery, and the process, is amazing. At one time Berkshire was largest manufacturer of hosiery in the world. They became a symbol of American quality and the most advanced technology in the hosiery industry.
